A consultant and research fellow at the World Bank for the Governance Global Practice. Prior to these positions, Nochi was a lecturer in economics at the University of Rennes 1 and the University of Le Mans in France.  Dief also worked as a consultant for IHS Markit covering the Central Africa region.

He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Center for Research in Economics & Management and a master’s in economic and financial engineering from the University of Rennes 1 ( France). His research has been published in the European Journal of Development Research and in Resources Policy. He also serves as Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in Social Sciences (BITSS) Catalyst.
